Tabitha Sutherland

Public Programmes Coordinator

Biography

After spending my youth hanging around Glasgow School of Art, I completed my Foundation year at Leeds college of Art and a BA in Sculpture at Wimbledon College of Art.

Since leaving university I have been heavily involved with setting up public as well as student led music and art collectives all over London and Glasgow. I have also managed Galleries and Studios all across London, working on increasing public interaction. My passion is helping everyone from all walks of life gain access to arts education. I have recently come from working at a Creative photography company as a Project Manager to my position here at RDS.

My work outside of the school focuses mainly on drawing and sculpture with themes of the uncanny and the creation of dystopian scenes, much influenced by works of Paula Rego and David Lynch. I spend my weekends cycling, sculpting and playing in a Punk band around London.
