Biography

Alexander Gilmour studied at Leeds College of Art in 2014. After practicing for three years as an artist, he was accepted into the Royal Drawing School Drawing Year. He works predominantly in drawing, painting and digital media. Focused particularly on how a painting can be considered an object he finds inspiration from colour, movement and stories. In addition to his personal practice, he is a founder member of Precious Art Collective, based in Leeds.
