There are many opportunities for alumni to travel and to participate in residencies around the world. For the past nine years a small group of Drawing Year alumni have gone to the International Institute of Fine Arts in Modinagar, India on the Royal Drawing School's ten-week teaching and art residency programme in collaboration with Arts for India.
The teaching residency in India will take place over three months between October and December. This Residency is open to artists who graduated from the Drawing Year in the last two years. The residency takes place at The International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA) in Modinagar, India. During the three months the resident teachers will collectively teach IIFA's Foundation Students and Painting Students alongside the IIFA teaching staff. Running alongside the artists teaching time, artists will have use of a studio space at the Sanskriti Foundation in Delhi.
This residency opportunity is fully funded for four artists, this includes: travel, stipend, accommodation, visa and vaccinations. Please note travel insurance is the artists own responsibility.
Applications are now closed for the IIFA teaching residency. If you have any questions regarding the residency please firstname.lastname@example.org
