Evelina Zakharov

Evelina Zakharov graduated from the University of East London with a first class Honours in Fine Art in 2017. Having spent her childhood divided between two countries, she explores feelings of displacement and isolation within her work, often loosely based on the evocative Russian landscape that is so prominent in her childhood memories. Since joining the Royal Drawing School in 2018, observational drawing has begun to play an increasingly important role in her practice, both in drawing and filmmaking.
