Helen Burgess

Helen Burgess studied Illustration at Falmouth College of Arts (2000-3). She has been in a number of exhibitions in London, both group and solo shows. Her primary practice is now painting but she still enjoys the juxtaposition of text and image which led her to study illustration, and she has produced a number of artist's books. Her life-long drawing practice allows her to delve into the relationship between subjective and objective truth and it is this that informs her sensibility. She works from life, drawings and memory.
