Julian Woodward
- Alumni, 2010
Biography
Julian Woodward studied fine art painting at Glasgow School of Art. On leaving art school he began working freelance producing visualisation images for architects using 3D computer graphics, a medium which continues to fascinate him due to the possibilities it offers to create model worlds. Julian studied on The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School) in 2010. His paintings are attempts to synthesise his immediate environment, looking for universality and timelessness in the everyday. He is excited by the way that space and light can create theatre and reverie, and is inspired by the legacy of landscape painting.
