Biography
Kirsty Buchanan studied Art Philosophy and Contemporary practices at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and then moved from Scotland to London to do her MAFA at Central Saint Martin's, following which she studied on The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School) in 2013. Kirsty has exhibited nationally and internationally and was a prize-winner in the Exeter Pheonix Contemporary Open in 2011. She was artist in residence in the CCA Creative Lab in Glasgow and also at Girl's Only in Brooklyn, New York in 2014 and has recently completed a residency at the Florence Trust at St Saviour’s church, London. She currently lives and works in London.
