Biography
Natalie studied on The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School) following a Fine Art degree specialising in drawing and painting at Canterbury Christ Church University. She currently practices as a Chartered Landscape Architect in Edinburgh combining both her passion for drawing and landscape design. She was awarded the Helen A Rose Bequest from Edinburgh University whilst studying the Masters in Landscape Architecture programme. Natalie’s artwork focuses on abstract representations of cityscapes and explores how people engage with external spaces. She favours a monochrome palette of charcoal, ink and oil paint to express form and mass whilst light and dark.
