Biography
Natasha Lien studied at Central Saint Martin’s and on The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School). Exhibitions include the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2004, 2007 and 2008, Dulwich Picture Gallery, the Mall Galleries, the Royal College of Art, the Slade and Somerset House. Natasha is a regular Visiting Tutor at The Art Academy with a wide variety of teaching experience. Workshops include Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. Her work includes drawing, painting and printmaking. Her compositions tend to focus on people, landscapes and architecture. She was Artist-in-residence at Tetbury Music Festival in 2008 and has received various commissions including a large drawing of the Old Vic Theatre for Kevin Spacey. The V&A museum have recently acquired a solar photo etching of "Trajan and the Cast Court".
