Lucy Williams
Biography
Lucy Williams’ graphic, architecturally inspired work displays an order of everyday life and banality, as well as aspirational utopian environments. Through her use of collage and mixed media techniques, Williams infuses the various flat surfaces with an illusory depth and significance. One feels as if they could walk directly into her unpopulated environments, which are asking for a willing protagonist. Williams has exhibited widely nationally and internationally, and is represented by Timothy Taylor Gallery in London and McKee Gallery in New York.
