Digital Streaming Studio | Lunchtime Life Drawing
An online figure drawing session taught by a Royal Drawing School tutor covering a different aspect of the human form each week.
Drop in and draw along with us, live from our London studios at lunchtime from 1-2pm (GMT). Guided by an experienced tutor, students will draw from a model and our Digital Technician Team will use a range of digital processes only possible online.
Using the School's multi-camera digital studio, we will explore different approaches that will help students improve and develop their observational drawing skills. We will focus on the human form, giving you the opportunity to observe and draw a live model from the comfort of your home or workplace. There will be a variety of long and short poses enhanced by different perspectives, dramatic lighting, filters and framing. Each session will include live tuition that will help students approach the different poses and to get the most out of the session.
An hour of drawing in your day can not only improve your drawing skills but also promotes a more relaxed state of mind, reduces anxiety, develops problem solving skills and can simply just be fun!
This session will be led by tutor Tara Versey and will focus on tone. By de-saturating the scene digitally we will have the chance to observe tone and different levels of contrast within the figure and the surrounding space.
