The Royal Drawing School is delighted to present The Drawing Year 2019-20 End of Year Exhibition at our Shoreditch gallery. The course was significantly impacted by COVID-19 this year, however the students adapted quickly to a full programme of online teaching and an extended year to allow for more in person teaching and studio time. This exhibition celebrates their achievements.
The exhibition will be open for drop-ins weekdays 10am to 6pm. The gallery will be operating in line with the wider social contact limits with groups of up to 6 people or 2 households permitted. We will ask you for your contact details on entry for track and trace. Evening and Saturday viewings can be made by appointment. If you would like to book an appointment, please contact drawingyear@royaldrawingschool.org.
Purchasing work from this exhibition will support Drawing Year students and the Royal Drawing School. The exhibition will also be available to view online from 4 June 2021 at royaldrawingschoolexhibits.org.
To complement the Drawing Year Exhibition students will be holding an Open Studio event from 3 - 11 June at Space Studios, 19 Warburton Road, Hackney, E8 3RH.
