See new works by Drawing Year alumni Laura Footes and Paul Majek in Vestiges, an exhibition bringing together five contemporary painters exploring memory, inheritance, and traces of the past. Laura Footes' practice draws on the subconscious and her experience of living with a chronic illness, reimagining the city as an emotional and psychological landscape. Paul Majek's paintings explore memory, family history, and spirituality, using layers of opacity and transparency to reflect themes of loss and change.

The exhibition considers the body as a site where memory, desire, identity, and external perception converge, examining the many ways artists represent and understand the self.

A keen observer of the world around him, Masson draws inspiration from everyday life and seemingly ordinary objects, revealing their unexpected depth and significance. Taking its title from Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve's celebrated fairy tale, the exhibition explores themes of transformation, desire, and the power of storytelling. Since its first publication in 1740, the tale has continued to inspire generations of artists, writers, musicians, and filmmakers.
