Continuing to share and exhibit your work is an important part of artistic development, and there are many opportunities to help you do just that. This roundup brings together open calls and prizes that could help expand your portfolio, gain exposure, and secure funding for future projects. 

British Art Prize 2025 

An open competition for UK and international artists with a prize fund worth over £10,000 and a London exhibition. All styles, media and techniques are welcome – from painting and drawing to textiles, printmaking and mixed media. Collaborative works are accepted. No AI-generated art or reproductions.

Anthology Art Competition 

Run by Anthology magazine, this annual award champions both established and emerging visual artists. Open to painting, printmaking, mixed media, photography and digital media, with no set theme. Works aligned to the magazine’s aesthetic are encouraged.

The Homiens Art Prize 

An international prize awarding $12,000 annually, with winners selected every three months. Open to all artists, art forms, and themes, providing consistent support and recognition throughout the year.

The Ingram Prize 

Celebrating the work of graduating artists in the first years of their careers, The Ingram Collection’s annual Purchase Prize Exhibition is open to any medium. Winners have their work acquired for the Collection.

Deadline: 15 September 2025

Derwent Art Prize, 2026 

A global celebration of art created in pencil, from graphite to coloured and water-soluble varieties. The exhibition takes place at gallery@OXO in London, with £13,500 in prizes.
