Zoe Andrews graduated from The Drawing Year in 2024. She discusses the synergy between ceramics and drawing, how time spent studying in London's museums and galleries deeply affected her practice and she found her own voice.
I think sometimes people get a bit confused where they see ceramics and I'm on the drawing school, but if anything, drawing is the heart of ceramics and whilst it might not be pen on paper, it's the pin and clay, it's as tactile and as immediate as drawing, if not more.
