Clare Davidson

Biography

Clare Davidson studied at both Central St Martins and Cambridge University before joining The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School). She is a painter/printmaker and colour and pattern are key elements in her work. She is particularly interested in natural form and its contrast with the urban setting. She was selected by the Royal Drawing School for its first Arts for India residency in 2010 in Modinagar, where she taught for a term and developed her practice.
