Biography

Daniel Shadbolt took his foundation at the University of Hertfordshire in 1999. He then moved to London to study Painting at the Chelsea School of Art before completing The Drawing Year in 2004. Daniel then spent two years working for The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School) as a technician. In 2008 he received the Bulldog Bursary for Portrait Painting and has taught Drawing and Painting at the Heatherley School of Fine Art in Chelsea since. His exhibitions include the BP Portrait Award, Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize, Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Exhibition, Royal Society of Portrait Painters, and New English Art Club. He has also had solo exhibitions at La Galleria in Pall Mall and at the 286 Gallery in Earl's Court.
