Biography
Jenny Smith studied Illustration at Cambridge School of Art before completing The Drawing Year at The Royal Drawing School. Whilst on her BA, Jenny was awarded the inaugural Ronald Searle Award for Drawing, and has gone on to present solo shows in London, Norway and New York. Drawing remains key to her practice both in the studio and on location. Sourcing inspiration from cinematography and theatre, she creates microcosmic worlds by weaving narratives together using collaged and cut out elements.
