Biography
Kim Scouller (b.1980) studied Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee before completing The Drawing Year at The Royal Drawing School in 2008. More recently, she completed the Turps Correspondence Course.
Kim paints from her immediate surroundings using lively brushwork to capture the essential character of her subjects. The modest scale of her paintings allows the subject matter to become the focus for painterly exercises in colour, form and style moulding them into her vision of heightened reality.
