Biography

Kim Scouller studied Drawing and Painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee from 1999-2003, and then at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School) from 2007-9. Kim has exhibited widely across the UK including the BP Portrait Award, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Competition and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters. More recently she had a joint exhibition at the Caledonian Club in London (2014) with fellow Drawing Year Alumnus David Caldwell. She has been recipient of several awards including the Aspect Prize 2004, an award founded to support emerging Scottish artists. More recently she was awarded a residency at Dumfries House in Ayrshire (2013).
