Biography

Olivia Kemp is a British artist and draughtswoman working with pen and ink, represented by James Freeman Gallery in London. She makes complex and detailed drawings, sometimes expansive, imagined and surreal. Since her 'Richard Ford Award' residency in the Museo del Prado in 2015; much of her work is inspired by art history and the classic painters.

Kemp and her work have featured on BBC R4 Front Row, Marie Claire, The Evening Standard, Colnaghi Foundation Lates, Mashable, Colossal and many more.
