Sam Halstead

Biography

Samuel Halstead is an artist based at Half Acre Studios in Boscastle, Cornwall. His work explores landscape, mythology, and materiality through drawing, printmaking and sculpture. Engaging with the rhythms of place, he combines observation with imagination to create evocative, layered compositions. Alongside his studio practice, he researches local art and folklore, drawing connections between historical narratives and contemporary experience.
