Led by our alumni, these talks provide an excellent opportunity for art students and recent graduates to learn more about The Drawing Year how the course can grow their creative career.

What to expect

In early 2026 we are inviting art school students and faculty to join Alumni Talks: The Drawing Year. Each 60-minute talk is led by two Royal Drawing School alumni and includes:

  • An introduction to The Drawing Year and the Royal Drawing School.
  • Insights into the speakers' experiences on the programme and the impact it had on their practice.
  • An overview of post-programme opportunities.
  • An informal Q&A with attendees.
