Biography
Alastair Farley graduated from the University of Brighton in 2019 with a BA in Fine Art Painting. Born and raised in rural Northumberland, his work focuses on the distinct history, architecture and religious traditions of the region. The area was once a land of saints, kings and Border Reivers; all of these have now long disappeared, with only the ruins of castles and ancient church towers that litter the landscape to be found remaining. These motifs form the backbone of his practice.
