Alessia Avellino

Biography

Alessia studied Foundation at Chelsea College of Arts and then continued onto a degree in Drawing and Painting at Camberwell College of Arts. She has shown in London, New York and Europe. In 2000 she was awarded the Bruce Church Scholarship and the Painter Stainers Award for Easel Paining. In 2004 she shared the Hugh Casson Drawing Prize at the Royal Academy with Paula Rego and Frank Auerbach. Alessia lives and works in London.
