Alex Chilvers

Biography

Alex Chilvers is from Grimsby. He studied illustration at Middlesex University where his practice was based around observational drawing which he used to create prints and animations. Since graduating he has worked on commissioned and self-initiated projects focusing on people and their surroundings. In 2013 he completed The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School), where his practice geared towards oil painting. He has since been painting from observation, drawings and imagination.
