Alexander Gilmour

Biography

Alex Gilmour (B. 1990, Leeds.) is a painter and multidisciplinary artist who explores masculinity through anthropomorphically shaped painting.

He studied at Leeds College of Art and joined the Drawing Year at the Royal Drawing School in September 2016 and graduated in 2017. Following this, he then graduated from Turps Banana Studio programme and the Royal College of Art.

He lives and works in London.
