Allegra Fitzherbert

Biography

Allegra Fitzherbert is an Irish artist based in London. Using recurring motifs she explores the experience of living. Themes centre on seasons, womanhood, freedom; material sensuality drives her method. She is inspired by playful narrators, attitudes of defiance and portrayals of the raw.

Previously Allegra gained a BA Modern Languages from the University of Oxford and MFA Stage Design from The Lir, Dublin. With a background in set design she works as a specialist painter, decor-maker and festival programmer.
