Anita Kavaja

Biography

Before attending The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School), Anita Kavaja completed a BA in Fine Art Painting at the University of Brighton. She has taught on the Royal Drawing School's Drawing Clubs and also went on a three month travelling scholarship to Mexico, funded by The Goldsmiths Company. Her influences are widespread, ranging from painters to poets; these have led her to develop narrative and metaphor, giving a richer and more layered meaning to her work.
