Biography
Caroline Cornelius’s work explores a fragility and fleetingness inherent in life, but particularly felt by women. Using intimate scenes from memory, her work examines the female form, the duality of ageing, and the complexity of maternal relationships. Caroline graduated from the University of Brighton in Fashion and Textiles and then worked as a print designer. In 2022 she was accepted as an Associate member of the Royal Watercolour Society and joined The Drawing Year.
