Biography

Catarina Cardoso is a London-based, multidisciplinary artist working across painting, ceramic & sound. Their background in classical music paired with keen research in non-traditional materials, glaze and surface provides them with a foundational springboard to explore the liminal spaces they inhabit, both figurative and abstract alike.

Often foraging for raw materials, methodology plays an integral role in Catarina's practice as much as the finished works; balancing the synthetic and natural to explore recurring themes such as synaesthesia and musical topologies.
