Biography
Christine Mills is an artist who draws on the materials and people found in the Welsh landscape where she was born and still lives. Graduating from Goldsmiths in 1984, her work is always underpinned with drawing and infused with a consideration of place and narrative, whilst also addressing global concerns. She has had residencies and exhibitions in Wales, New York, Argentina and China. In 2017, she was awarded the prestigious Creative Wales Award by Arts Council Wales.
