Clara Medek

Biography

Clara Medek came from Germany to London for The Drawing Year before going to Dijon to complete her Bachelor of Comparative Literature and French Studies. She later studied Drawing and Printmaking at the Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle. 

After a parental break she completed her Fine Arts Diploma at the BGKH in 2023 with the solo exhibition ‘Birth’.

She has been selected for the Jerwood Drawing Prize (2004) and her lithographs have been featured in print exhibitions throughout Germany.
