Biography
Clare Barton-Harvey is a full-time artist, tutor and art mentor. Drawing is an essential component in her work which explores interspecies communication and the consciousness of plants and insects. She is influenced by calligraphy with respect to the embodied mark/gesture and works with natural pigments foraged from plants, minerals and earth.
Clare has practised mindfulness meditation for over 32 years and works as a freelance drawing and mindfulness teacher/trainer in a variety of locations, including the Royal Academy, National Gallery and British Museum
Her drawing and paintings are held in private collections across the UK, Europe and America.
