Craigie Harper

Biography

My drawings and paintings are set in a fictitious town called “Kilmarning”. It is based on the small towns and villages I grew up near in the North-East of Scotland. The subject matter and narratives are influenced by conversations, memories and my surroundings.

I currently live and work in a community near Aberdeen that looks after young adults with learning disabilities, where I give painting classes and develop my own studio practice.
