Biography

Craigie Harper's drawings and paintings are set in a fictitious town called “Kilmarning”. It is based on the small towns and villages where he grew up near in the North-East of Scotland. The subject matter and narratives are influenced by conversations, memories and his surroundings.

Currently he lives and works in a community near Aberdeen that looks after young adults with learning disabilities, where he gives painting classes and develops his own studio practice.
