Biography
Studied at Chelsea School of Art, the Slade School of Art and on The Drawing Year. His paintings and drawings have evolved from a pictorial landscape tradition creating work with a sense of place, exploring formal issues using a dynamic colour palette. Recent exhibitions include Facade with Kittoe Contemporary and Margins with Tregony Contemporary. He has exhibited in London, New York and China. Has undertaken residences in India and at Kensington Palace. Awards have included the Boise Travel Scholarship, the Laing Landscape Award and the Gilchrist Fisher Memorial Prize. He is in the collections of UCL, Forbes, Bayer and Unilever.
