Biography
Alina is a German, London based fine artist working almost entirely in charcoal.
Her work explores moments of tenderness and care in a fleeting and desperately fast-moving world. Stressing the importance of community, empathy and interrelatedness between humans and the broader non-human community, her drawings want to move beyond anthropocentric thinking, to convey a more inclusive ecological vision of belonging, responsibility and care vital to tackling the challenges of living in an age of widespread mental and environmental degradation.
