Beau Rouse

Biography

Before joining the Royal Drawing School, Beau Rouse studied Fine Art Painting at the University of Brighton and graduated with First class Honours. His recent drawings mark out the passage of time, echoing his footsteps through the streets of the city. They are of light and mood, often capturing a feeling of absence drawing the viewer towards the uncanny. Although representational his paintings reveal a type of slippage between what is depicted and the act of painting.
