Isaac Nugent

Isaac Nugent can usually be found painting or making collage: he is a director of physical theatre; a constructor of humorous tableaux. He studied Art and History of Art at Edinburgh University, winning the Huntly MacDonald Sinclair History of Art Prize and the Barns-Graham Dissertation Award. Following graduation, he received the Royal Scottish Academy John Kinross Scholarship, spending three months travelling through Italy. He recently attended the Vermont Studio Centre and was artist in residence at the Watts Gallery, Surrey.
