Biography
Isaac Nugent is an artist and art historian, currently pursuing a PhD in Art History at the University of York. His AHRC funded PhD examines how urban environments in northern Italy were reshaped through painted architecture (1500-1540.)
Isaac’s studio practice also explores our experience of the built environment. He uses colour to express the disorientating effects of urban living. Isaac teaches for the educational charity Art History Link-Up and works as a Gallery Educator at the National Gallery.
