Jenny Smith

Jenny Smith completed a degree in Illustration at Cambridge School of Art before studying on The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School) in 2010. Whilst completing her BA Jenny won the inaugural Ronald Searle Award for Drawing, and has since gone on to show in several prestigious group exhibitions at The Mall Galleries, including the Lynn Painter-Stainers and the Royal Society of British Artists show, through which she was awarded The Arts Club Trust Award. Her drawings are a rigorous examination of the world around her and possess an almost dreamlike quality, which makes her parks, gardens and street scenes at once instantly familiar and slightly sinister.
