Biography

Louise Boulter graduated from Kingston University with a BA Hons in Art and Design in 2018, and has since continued to develop a painting practice. As an opportunity to deconstruct her ideas around drawing, Louise joined The Drawing Year in 2019, and has since established an integral, intimate relationship with drawing as a form of capturing raw, unfiltered ideas. Often stabilised around the female form, Louise’s images unravel interior psychological states, confronting the self and the discord between disparate arenas of consciousness.
