Biography
Oliver Offord graduated from Wimbledon College of Arts with a First Class Honours in Painting in 2019. His work explores the links between drawing and writing, the slipperiness of representation and meaning, and the dichotomies between labour and futility which are apparent in creative processes. Since joining The Drawing Year in 2019, his work has taken on a narrative focus, working throughout the year on a publication, Mountain Energy, which combines literature and drawing. He has recently started teaching on the School’s Young Artists programme.
