Biography
Somaya Critchlow (b. 1993) lives and works in London. Working predominantly in oil paint, graphite and ink, she is known for paintings and drawings that often depict the nude or semi-nude female body. Drawing on a wide range of influences, including the Old Master painters, the films of David Lynch and the writing of Angela Carter, Critchlow works at both miniature and large scale.
