Biography
Stuart Pearson Wright studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and on The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School). His work is in numerous public collections including the National Portrait Gallery and The British Museum. Pearson Wright won the BP Portrait Award in 2001 along with other prizes including Garrick/Milne Prize and the Sunday Times Watercolour competition. He works primarily as a painter but also makes sculpture and prints. He sometimes works in Film and has also recorded a Country and Western Album under the guise: Lonesome Stu and the Gearshifters. Perarson Wright is represented by Riflemaker, London. He lives and works in Suffolk.
