Talya Chalamish

In her work, Talya Chalamish seeks to create visual images that evoke a mental-scape, a memory, insight or inkling of a feeling that can bring us to a more intimate place within ourselves and towards an enriched form of observing what is there. Talya is an honours graduate from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, who continued to higher education in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, London and Central St. Martins, London. Talya has a studio-based practice alongside her role as Artistic Director at “Hadkeren”, the Israeli independent publishing house and cultural engine that she co-established.
