Tess Tomassini

Tess Tomassini’s practice centres around physicality and the corporeal form. She finds inspiration from the uncomfortable, constraining, and vulnerable qualities of the body, manifested both internally and externally. Her work aims to bring the past in dialogue with the present. The materials she makes and uses are a key aspect of her work. Tomassini graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Philosophy and Italian, and worked as a curator before joining The Drawing Year.
