Xenie Poldaufova

Xenie Poldaufova is currently in her third year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Because of Xenie’s desire to understand drawing as a principal in its own right, she has taken a year off from her studies to attend the Royal Drawing School’s postgraduate programme, The Drawing Year. Xenie’s practice derives from the information she learns from observational drawing, which is key to her practice. This year she has focussed her drawing on expressing space and how basic planes relate to each other.
