Biography
Edward Quamina is a London-based artist whose work explores movement, memory, and the symbolic relationship between body and place. His practice spans drawing, painting, and mixed media, rooted in a deep engagement with figuration and the expressive mark. Through images that merge mythic resonance with lived experience, Quamina maps an inner landscape—a terrain of emotion, ancestry, and rhythm—where dance, community, and the sacred British landscape converge. His recent works reflect a growing interest in how the physical and spiritual intertwine, tracing gestures that belong as much to memory as to motion.
