Elisa Terranera

Biography

Elisa Terranera (b. 2001, Rome) graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2023. In 2024, she received an MA from the Royal College of Art.

Elisa also loves to write and approaches her drawings as if she were writing. Since studying on The Drawing Year, her work has revolved around using playfulness and heaviness to tell simple stories — about people, their tenderness and cruelty, set in a time when we didn’t have to describe ourselves to each other.
