Biography

Ellie Lonsdale studied Illustration at Falmouth University, graduating with a First Class Honours in 2021. Her drawing and printmaking practice is driven by a desire to explore landscapes and coastlines, finding the crossover between the observed natural world and the emotional resonance of a place and moment. Walking and cycling through landscapes forms an integral part of her working process, as drawings are imbued with the narrative of a journey.
